Josh Sundquist might have lost his leg to cancer when he was 9 years old, but he definitely didn't lose his determination and sense of humor. The 32-year-old has lived an impressive and inspirational life as a Paralympian ski racer, motivational speaker, and bestselling author — but then you see his Halloween costume game and realize he takes being awesome to a whole new level.
The entire Internet seems to agree that Sundquist's 2016 costume is his best yet, and that's really saying something once you see his getups from years past:
2010: The Gingerbread Man
2012: Leg Lamp from A Christmas Story
2014: Foosball Player
2015: IHOP Sign
2016: Lumière from Beauty and the Beast
This Halloween, Sundquist took things to the next level as Lumière, the shiny gold candlestick from Beauty and the Beast. Using paper mâché, modeling clay, a poster board, stuffing, silicone, and a whole lot of metallic fabric, Sundquist was transformed into the classic Disney character.
Impressive? Yeah, just a little bit. Watch the magic unfold here:
And if you're wondering what happened to 2011, Sundquist says he'd rather not talk about it. (But it's hilarious and worth checking out anyway.)
