Emma Stone earned her 'La La Land' dancer physique by more than just practicing the choreography. Her trainer, Jason Walsh, had the Oscar nominee focus on dead lifts and strength training. "Staying strong supports the skeletal system, stabilizes joints, makes your cardio safer and more effective," Walsh told ELLE. "If strength training is done right, you get plenty of cardio from lifting as well. Cardio comes secondary."
Not only does Viola Davis have an enviable career, she also has an award-worthy bod. (Those arms!) In an interview with SELF, the 'Fences' Oscar-nominee revealed how she stays in shape: "You know they say 80 percent of losing weight is what you eat, and 20 percent is exercise? I got the 20 percent covered," Davis said. "If I have to be at work at 5 a.m, I will get up at 3 and work out. I run, I do weights. I'm like every other woman; I'd love to be 10 pounds or 20 pounds lighter. I'm good as long as I'm healthy."
