Baby Broccoli with Garlic

Kids might like this gently flavored veggie, also called broccolini. If you can't find it at the market, use regular broccoli.

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp. olive oil
  • 4 medium bunches of broccolini
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • 2 clove garlic

Directions

  1. In deep 12-inch skillet, heat 1 tablespoon oil over medium-high heat. Add broccolini or broccoli and salt; cook 4 minutes, tossing vegetables to coat well.
  2. Add garlic and remaining 1 teaspoon oil, and cook 1 minute longer, stirring.
  3. Add 3 tablespoons water; cook broccoli 2 minutes longer or until tender-crisp.
