Can't Master the Art of Cauliflower Pizza? Broccoli Crust Might Be the Solution

Lean, green pizza dough coming right up!

Be honest: How many times have you tried making cauliflower crust pizza only to end up with a pile of hot (albeit still delicious) mush? If you'd rather not say, that's OK. Just know it happens to the best of us.

For anyone who's jinxed in the cauliflower department, we have an alternative option you need to add to your must-try list: broccoli crust pizza. Blogger Layla Atik of Gimme Delicious has a version that makes us green with envy.

Using a two-step method and only a handful of ingredients, this broccoli crust is prepped in just 5 minutes. The key to making the mush-free pizza is simple: Bake the crust without toppings for 10 to 12 minutes first, then toss 'em on in the next round. You'll be left with green, cheesy goodness.

Just a warning: You might still end up with a little bit of a mess after ricing your broccoli (pretty standard), but it's totally worth it. This low-carb, gluten-free pizza recipe clocks in at only 247 calories per serving, and we definitely can't get mad at that, even if we do find tiny bits of broccoli in a corner of the kitchen days later.
