Confession: The first time we stopped by the Delish kitchen, we were offered a grilled cheese sandwich made out of garlic Texas toast and, well, we devoured it. Because grilled cheese.
But the next time we visited the Delish kitchen, we came armed with our — and Dr. Oz's — favorite home cook, Lisa Oz, who whipped up a batch of her healthy-and-flavorful Red Pepper and Walnut Romesco dip from her cookbook The Oz Family Kitchen. And all was well again.
Needless to say everyone — Dr. Oz The Good Life and Delish teams alike — went crazy over it, and for good reason. It's mouth-watering party dip (who doesn't love party dip?) and it only took three minutes to make!
The healthy concoction full of chopped walnuts, tomato paste, and garlic pairs perfectly with everything from pita chips and cauliflower to baby carrots and snap peas. Or maybe just a spoon, as Lisa brilliantly suggests. This recipe does come with one warning, however: Once you bring it to a party, you'll never be able to show up anywhere without it ever again.
