When You Hit a Wall During Your Next Workout, Be Like Beyoncé and Try This Trick

A celeb fitness tip we can actually use? No. Way.

We've all experienced that moment during a grueling workout when our bodies and minds start to signal it's time to give up. Finding the motivation to power through isn't easy — especially as the temperatures drop and the days get shorter during the fall and winter months.

The good news is this happens to everyone — even Queen Bey. That's right, not even Beyoncé is immune to workout burnout. In a recent Instagram ad for her activewear line Ivy Park, the pop star admitted that sometimes she wants to give up on a workout when her "lungs feel like they're drowning" and her "feet feel like they're going to explode."

But Beyoncé has a super-sweet trick up her sleeve to keep her moving and grooving even when the going gets tough: "When I'm about to give up, I picture that one person I love more than anyone," she says. "I picture them, wherever they are in the world, and I imagine myself running towards them. I see their face; they're smiling and cheering, and they're so proud of me. They're shouting my name, and I make it 'til the end."
