Oz Says: Your skin doesn't build up a tolerance to your beauty routine the way your body can to some painkillers or alcohol. Most daily skin-care favorites, like moisturizers and anti-aging creams, keep delivering until you stop using them, says Zakia Rahman, MD, a clinical associate professor of dermatology at Stanford University. Exception: daily Rx steroid creams for conditions like eczema. (If these lose their power, call your doc for other options.)
