Watch: Woman Flawlessly Covers Her Rare Birthmark With Makeup

Her video is so much more than a makeup tutorial.

Joanne Tronconi has had a birthmark caused by swollen blood vessels (aka a port-wine stain) across her body since birth, but it wasn't until about 20 years ago that she found out she has Klippel-Trenaunay syndrome, which is a rare disease that causes severe swelling anywhere the red birthmark is located.

"The deformity I have now I didn't have the first 40 years of my life. Now wherever I have the birthmark has swollen. My arms, my lips, my face, my chest, my back — you name it," Tronconi says in a video.

Tronconi knows she's "beautiful in her own way," (hear, hear!), but unfortunately there are still negative people out there who don't take the time to get to know her and her condition.

"Many people stare, comment, and come up with their own conclusions. It's really just a matter of perspective," she says.

One thing that makes her feel great? Applying some foundation, eye makeup, and lipstick. With the help of her son — who is a bit of a makeup genius and is known as Clawdeena on YouTube — she was transformed into an even lovelier, more confident version of herself.

"I'm here today to show you how I use makeup to make myself feel beautiful," Tronconi says.

To be entirely honest, we think she's already perfect just the way she is. But her sweet, heart-melting smile at the end of her transformation is outright radiant. You go, girl! Watch her incredible transformation above.
