What's the Deal With This DIY Edible Eye Shadow Everyone's Talking About?

Ever been tempted to take a bite out of your makeup? No? Us neither.

In case you missed it, there's a video from YouTuber GlitterForever17 that's getting a lot of attention right now, and it's all about how to make eye shadow you can eat. (Yeah, we didn't know how to respond to that, either.)

This eye shadow isn't the beauty guru's first time around the block when it comes to edible DIY videos. From iPhone cases to edible gummy bear poop (don't ask), they're mostly things we've never had the urge to nibble on, but they're definitely creative!

Made with cornstarch, powdered sugar, and metallic food coloring, she makes a point of saying that her homemade eye shadow palette isn't supposed to be worn on your eyelids for an extended period of time. We're still struggling to figure out why edible eye shadow exists in the first place, but just so you know, it does.
