Q: Is it normal for brows to shed?
Oz Says: It is, a little at a time. "All hair on your body falls out," says hair-loss researcher Melissa Piliang, MD, a dermatologist at the Cleveland Clinic, "but you should be dropping only two to three brow hairs a day." If you're looking suddenly sparse around the eyes, see a doc to be sure you're clear of thyroid disease, anemia, or alopecia areata (when your immune system attacks certain hair follicles). Until you get the issue resolved, fake fullness with pencils or powders.
